Catamount Bed and Breakfast

You are here Home  > Hotels and Inns >  Catamount Bed and Breakfast

Originally the home of Vermont’s first governor, the 1796 inn is now home to friendly ghosts who show up from time to time. The voices of phantom children also have been heard on the second floor. A Halloween Haunted Forest has been known to take place here, including theatrical shows, special effects and a path lined with hundreds of jack-o-lanterns.

  1. I’ve been in the house and everything, my Father now works there and he has said he has seen small movements and I’ve seen a girl and heard her voice.

  2. Heard a child’s giggle in the upstairs hallway, doorknob on closet door in our room jiggled by itself at 3am, an extra pillow ended up in our bed positioned between us like a kind of barrier, the lights in shared bath turned off and back on by themselves. A young mischievous ghost to be sure!
