According to a report from a caretaker, nine ghosts reside here. The witness has heard knocking and footsteps and seen lights turn on by themselves. Some witnesses have seen the apparition of a Mexican man in jeans, boots and a checkered shirt and felt cold spots.

i was there one day and i say with young man standing and it was very cold and when he disappeared, it was warm again. its like he controlling it. its scary but there isnt a lot of scary expirences in the casa de mexicano.
if you went to the roof you would go through the auditorium behind it you go up the stairway going to the top well every now and then you would see somebody pop up out of nowhere and you turned around that person wasn’t there anymore I saw that three times I said f*** it I never went back
in 2004, I brought world renowned psychic Peter James there and he walked with the caretaker and was able to identify at least 7 resident ghosts. My wife and I were in charge of hosting and organizing paranormal investigations, tours and events at La Casa del Mexicano for 3 years.
It is a very active location. a former doctor that at one time had an office upstairs still resides their, a woman that fell to her death in one of the stair ways is known to touch people as they walk through the stairway, a former Casa del Mexicano President has been seen in the women’s bathroom located in the basement several times frightening women, and was identified by one of the old photographs on the lobby wall. Another shadow figure has also been seen in the basement. A little boy who fell from the mezzanine is said to still reside there, and another entity in the Green room next to the stage has been known to pull women’s hair.
