in 2004, I brought world renowned psychic Peter James there and he walked with the caretaker and was able to identify at least 7 resident ghosts. My wife and I were in charge of hosting and organizing paranormal investigations, tours and events at La Casa del Mexicano for 3 years.

It is a very active location. a former doctor that at one time had an office upstairs still resides their, a woman that fell to her death in one of the stair ways is known to touch people as they walk through the stairway, a former Casa del Mexicano President has been seen in the women’s bathroom located in the basement several times frightening women, and was identified by one of the old photographs on the lobby wall. Another shadow figure has also been seen in the basement. A little boy who fell from the mezzanine is said to still reside there, and another entity in the Green room next to the stage has been known to pull women’s hair.
