    1. This is crazy, but I’ve experienced what I thought was an attack by a spirit, 2 nights in a row. It happened Fri. Jan. 22 and Sat. 23rd. On Fri. night I was walking toward Canal on Bourbon St. with family members when all of a sudden I started stumbling backwards, as if someone was pushing me backwards. I could not catch my balance, and after walking backwards for 20 feet, I fell against a trash can on the sidewalk. My family thought I was drunk. Yes, I had a buzz, and I am VERY balance coordinated but never felt anything like this before.
On Sat. night, family and I were heading back to our hotel around 1am, walking down Bourbon, and ALL of a sudden felt my foot shoved in a pothole, tripped, and felt my body slammed to the ground, face first. I felt as if I could not use my arms to support my fall…and fell flat on my face. I was knocked out for a minute. Wife and brother picked me up and helped me get back to the hotel.
These occurrences happened in the same location on Bourbon St. on….Both nights…somewhere between The Crazy Corner and Fat Cats. Again, I had a slight buzz…But NOT drunk. I was very aware of my surroundings, but for some odd reason, felt like I was attacked when I walked down that particular section of Bourbon St. Please share. I didn’t feel safe on that area of Bourbon. Very strange occurrence!
