Beaumaris was a brutal prison and execution site, but closed in 1878. One ghost thought to be here was the last person ever hanged who uttered an omen about his innocence and how his death would cause the clock faces to never show at the same time (which mysteriously came true). Other prisoners who died here are picked up on.
