  1. My family had a birthday gathering at this location about 18 years ago. My cousin and I went into the bathroom down stairs and I heard a baby cry and I said to my cousin “who brought a baby” and she replied no one. We both looked at each other and cries got louder and we ran out and didn’t hear it again. Then while we were leaving my grandmothers left clip earring kept flicking off her earlobe and landing in front of her instead of falling down beside her feet, it happened three times right after the other. We looked at one of the back windows and woman was looking out and disappeared. I had a bad nightmare that night and could never forget that mansion.

  2. I was military on the base in the 90’s, as a military police officer, I had to investigate the Bard Mansion on several ocassions. Heard and seen some strange things in that location. Got to admit, it was cool.

  3. My husband gave me my 50th Birthday party at the Bard Manson some years ago. While my daughter and son-in-law were upstairs looking around the lights flickered and she felt something brush against her. She said she wasn’t scared it was some what of a calm feeling she got……

  4. I worked as a chef at the Bard mansion. Here is my story. I was making cabbage soup. while standing at the stove I had a 10 inch can of ketchup. Not sure I poured enough I felt a hand touching my hand tilting the can to add more sauce. Another time I was in the back of the kitchen and a ghost opened or closed the heavy screen door-I got chills up my spine. I usually arrived first at work to start prepping for the day. On most occasion I would jingle my keys to avoid hearing any sounds coming from the mansion. One early morning I had to hurry in and before I got to the kitchen I heard pots and pans like someone was cooking. Once I got to the door I saw the back or half of a ghost going out the door towards the ballroom-yes ,I was freaked. After a wedding the place was empty. Upstairs one of the ghost turned on a radio and was playing with the dial-no one dared go up to investigate. In the attic where the couple hid their retarded child. If you want to feel evil go up there.

  5. Was at the Bard Mansion at my Dad’s Air Force Retirement party. When we arrived the people working mentioned the upstairs was haunted. Said we were all welcome to walk around to look at the estate. While upstairs I took this picture looking down the hallway towards the sun room. Mary Bard appeared in my picture. The photo was taken during the 5 o’clock hour, evening time.
