This place is real deal, folks. I’ll leave her nameless, but one of the employees there and I had a fling for a few months.

I know this is going to sound deviant, but I have to get into the story some way.

So, she and I were into recording our trysts and posting the audio on a well-known adult website for others to listen. Anyway, a handful of nights, I’d drop by as she was closing and we’d have sex just out of eyeshot of the main street outside. And of course, we’d record it.

To make a sexy story short, every one of our audio files recorded at Aqua Terra had a weird background noise that was never heard on any other of our recordings. After I posted them on that website, I got curious. I fiddled with the audio files until I was able to isolate the background sound.

Turned out, they were EVPs. They were clearly male. They were hushed, and sounded as though the person (ghost) was panicked by something. The three things I could make out clearly were, “You’re not safe,” “Help me [indecipherable] the locker?” “I don’t want to go into the darkness.”

That last one especially haunted me. I remember that night especially well. She and I were on the bar, and as we were engaged in something that those under 18 shouldn’t be aware of, the lights of the restaurant browned out. I timed it. It was that moment the ghost made that statement.
