Anderson Cemetery has a legend that explains a glowing headstone. So the story goes, a man came to the Morris family home and shot the whole family and the maid, then stole a horse. The family was buried here, and on the anniversary of the murder, the headstone is said to glow.

  1. Last Halloween my son and his friends decided to go check out Anderson Cemetery and he had said that when they got to the cemetery that they came upon a group of people standing in a circle and chanting and one of the group members saw them and said they needed to leave now or something bad will happen to them so they got out of there and when they were leaving they saw a blanket on the ground which looked like a babys blanket close to where they were and then heard a loud scream and then it got really quiet so my son and his friends ran as fast as they could back to the car and noticed that the car was moved they then got in and left never to go back, I am sceptical of what is said about the Anderson cemetery I would like to experience these things myself but do not have anyone that will come with me

  2. I went there on Halloween of 2010. My girlfriend and I checked that place out at midnight and played ouija out there. Diddnt hear or see anything. No glowing stone no nothing. We saw the headstone and lit a few candles. Nothing just a big headstone. Really creepy location though. It’s all gated off and the only way to access the cemetery is by going around the gate to the woods and entering through the woods. Basically just another woods at night. I’m a skeptic though. Also we weren’t there on the anniversary so maybe that’s why we Diddnt see anything.

  3. My husband was driving home near that cemetery, it was about 11:15 pm, he told me he needed someone to talk to right now bc he was spooked out and the hair on his neck is standing up. I sounded frantic.. he told me two balls of orbes shot into his truck through his door and exit out the other side door. He says he was in Galesburg,MI

I drive down this road when I visit my parents. I’ve never seen anything, but did have a strange experience. While driving down the road I held my phone up to take a picture of my hair. This was during early Covid times and my roots were crazy grown out… so under natural sunlight I took advantage. I never once took my eyes off the road. I took a lot of pics. Once getting to my dads I was scrolling through my phone and looking at the pictures. In my sunglasses there is a reflection of a black figure… close in one lense and further away in the other.

I never saw anything in the road.
