Numerous ghosts are reported along this road usually in the forms of shadows, people who jump into the middle of traffic, or cars stopped on the side of the road which vanish when others stop to offer help.

I was driving along the Peebles to leadburn Road at around 4am and a car was heading towards me as it was dark I was using my main beam I dipped my lights as the car was about to round the bend towards me I waited on it passing but it never appeared my son who was travelling with me asked where the car had gone I put my main beam back on and continued on my journey perplexed

  2. Pinmore South Ayrshire KA260TR. I witnessed a shadow figure jump over the railway bridge from the old school kitchens in the old school house in Pinmore. The old school house has a hive of activity as well. We often hear children singing and classes still being given
