This building was the former quarters of the fire department, which was the first fire department in the entire city. A disgruntled fireman shot a passer-by dead, and ever since, tenants in the building have reportedly seen the apparition of a man in dark pants and a white shirt wandering through the upper level of the building before vanishing.
