This historic home dates back to 1830 and now houses the James Madison Institute. The paranormal activity here centers around the first floor, where the figure of a woman is sometimes seen walking into the fireplace.

  1. I’ll have to say this is NOT haunted. Of course, there are always stories that accompany old buildings, but having worked here, I never had anything strange happen, nor did any of my co-workers. A really impressive, beautiful building with a neat history, though.
