    1. In the mid 90’s I was stationed in Ft. Drum. I lived if post in a house for rent. I didn’t have a car then so I had to walk to the off post housing and had to pass the cemetery. One very cold and snowing morning I was walking to the place to catch the bus to go to ft. Drum. The first and last time I walked on the side of the cemetery and all of the sudden a old man in shorts t-shirt with out sleeves passed me running. I was about in the middle of the cemetery when I saw him. He said good morning and past me jogging. I said good morning back to him. 2 seconds later I turned around to see him and he was not there. And it was freezing it was like -20 and snowing. I never walked on the same side of the cemetery again.
