Once an 1800s dance hall, the building that houses Anderson City Hall is said to be haunted by the spirit of a Native American woman and her child, who were murdered on the site long ago. Witnesses have heard residual dancing music and the cries of a child.
The apparition of a little girl dressed in white is said to appear in the road in front of drivers who have been drinking.
