You are here Home  > Hotels and Inns >  The Grand Victorian Bed and Breakfast Inn

This 1890s inn is said to be haunted by original builder Henry Richardi, who built the house for his intended bride. It is said that after Henry passed away, his disappointed spirit came here to rest. The building stood unoccupied for many years, and during that time, folks reported seeing eerie lights in the cupola area.

  1. At the end of Echo street in East Jordan michigan there is a trail that follows along the jordan river. Many nights me and my friends have encountered something following us. Feelings of eyes on us. I was with my boyfriend at the time of my last adventure down that trail where there were footsteps and sounds of people walking, following us, but no one was there.

  2. Yes, been there and the Museum next door. The Museum lady told us he after he built the house, he was rejected by the fiancee. He was left there to pine his days away. Be sure to go across the street to Short’s brewing….Best Beer in the State!!! <I don't think its haunted there…but you may see hallucinations after a few of their brews!!

  3. I lived in Central Lake, off of Central lake. on Intermediate Lake Rd. just before the turn heading into the stretch going to town. There is a barn on the corner of the curve and I used to walk my dog late at night and we would always feel cold chill’s when we got near the barn even on hot night’s. One night we actually SAW something like a black shadow moving up the drive from the barn toward Intermediate Lk. Rd. and it got almost right up to us and dissipated into nothing right in front of me and my dog, My dog even turned around and headed back for the house. LOl
