The old inn and restaurant is haunted by two apparitions; a glowing ball of light that flies through the hallways and disappears through walls, and the apparition of an old lady who watches over the inn and keeps staff and guests in check.

We stayed at the castle on our honeymoon… it was a surprise for me. Arriving we met a lady who appeared to be watching the place while the inn keeper was unavailable. Our first night was very romantic I was truly in awww of the beauty of it all and history. I hadn’t felt uneasy or any fear at that point. During the first night in the honeymoon suite I had a rough night of waking up numerous times from nightmares … one in particular I was walking to the bathroom and passed an old lady with white hair sitting on the bench like seat /coat rack .. she looked at me and I in a state of shock and terror I tried to scare or intimidate her first before she scared me we both seemed to show dominance. Mind you I have no idea if I dreamt this in a nightmare or I was physically walking to the bathroom on one of my trips throughout the night. The next morning I felt drained and very tired. Later i asked my husband if he heard me having nightmares and he said yes that I made a lot of weird noises and was up and down a lot… not thinking to much about it I continued to try and enjoy the castle. I noticed a few books in a window sill and was curious and noticed one that had pics of ghost .. at that time my heart sank and I knew it was more than just a dream. I had also noticed the next day of a picture in the dining hall that resemble the lady in my dream. That next night I tried to stay as positive and not let the experience ruin my honeymoon.. tho I wanted to leave I couldn’t let my husband lose the money he spent on it. I had no negative experience that night except for a sleepless night. The entire time we didn’t see the inn keeper.. only the lady when we arrived. This was a couple weeks ago and I just decided to find out more information that brought me here.
