26 Toque Place

You are here Home  > Historical Buildings >  26 Toque Place

The 1910 house was originally a servants’ quarters or carriage house on an estate. Legend has it that when the main estate house burned down, the residents moved in to 26 Toque Place. There, 8-year-old Jennifer was met with strange events. The mirror in the bathroom produced lines, writing that said “hi.” Many strange events followed, involving a ghostly little boy. The walls also were said to bleed, tales say a result of his grandmother’s violent death inside the house. However, the ghostly incidents seem to have subsided; none of the recent owners have experienced any paranormal happenings.

  1. I work at Cafe Heldago, and this house opened a Resturant named Moon and Stars Cafe,I was chatting with a worker here, said it is haunted. Some Ghost Hunters ate there last week, and picked up on a little boy sitting on the front steps,a little girl shot in the head, and an elderly lady seen on property.Claimed they renovated, and stirred up activity.
