Wednesday Club

You are here Home  > Historical Buildings >  Wednesday Club

This historic women’s club dates back to the turn of the twentieth century, and is housed in a building where live performances and ghost stories are the absolute norm. Musicians packing up after gigs when the club is empty have reported hearing women’s laughter and conversation coming from the main dining room as well as the kitchen area. Cold spots are felt near the dressing rooms at the rear of the establishment, and on one occasion, a visitor walked in to see an entire group of ghostly women having a banquet, who faded away before his eyes.
