This hotel is haunted by ghostly newlyweds of long ago who came here on their honeymoon. When the man went hunting, a severe and sudden blizzard hit. The heartbroken wife, believing her husband dead, hanged herself in Room 54. But her beloved had not been killed in the storm. When he returned to find his wife dead, he promptly shot himself on the spot with his rifle. Guests have seen orbs, apparitions, and outlines of their ghostly images.

  1. My family and I decided we would eat lunch here three or four years ago. We decided not to go up to the ballroom, but when we went to the bathrooms, my younger sister had noticed the position of the balls on the pool table. When we walked past them again, she claimed they had moved. Later when we went to the bathroom, we took a picture before and after we went to the bathroom. We looked them over and found that they had moved. Although, the only other person in the room was the bar tender who was busy serving the other customers outside.

My husband and I stayed in the room right next to the ballroom. We were taking a nap, my husband was on the edge of the bed but under the covers and I was at the end of the bed on top of the covers reading a magazine. I was crouched down with my knees bent and my chin in my hands with the open magazine in front of me on the bed. I felt a whole hand press on my upper back , I turned to see if it was my husband but he was still under the covers. When I turned the pressing hand disappeared and I felt a moment of cold air I got goosebumps and my arm hairs stood up. A moment I won’t forget. My husband did not believe me but now wants to stay there again to test it. My response, No way.
