Washington Oaks

You are here Home  > Miscellaneous >  Washington Oaks

This area has belonged both to Native Americans and Spanish settlers in its past, and the state park land here was once a plantation with ties to relatives of George Washington. Witnesses have reported some ghostly goings-on here, including strange lights near the plantation home and poltergeist shenanigans in the visitor center.

  1. i once drove through the town near the cemetery (not for the first time, the first time i got horribly eery vibes) so we went back with several different paranormal activity apps and every single one went bezerk throughout the whole fucking town basically. this place is haunted for sure and creepy as fuck. 🙂 you’re welcome.

  2. Hi-!! I was just recently a guest at Warren Willis camp and i shared a room with my friend, and our other two friends had a joining room with us, with a door separating it, multiple things happened that were just a little concerning, one being: our key wouldn’t work, yes, our room key wouldn’t work, well i mean it would but you would have to turn it a certain way multiple times,, it was weird.. another thing was that there were a ton of ants coming out of the walls,, and our friends shower wouldn’t work,, so far this just sounds like a complaint, but theres more. Really late at night we heard someone knock on our door, but when i looked out the window there was nobody there, it was maybe 2am at the time-? No other campers were awake. I also kept getting really bad headaches when i was in the room (which could be a sign of paranormal activity) and my friend even threw up. We also kept hearing a bunch of clicking,, it was weird. Overall i definitely think there’s a high chance of the place being haunted, i don’t think it’s anything too concerning though, maybe some kid spirits looking for a good laugh.
