Vance Birthplace

You are here Home  > Miscellaneous >  Vance Birthplace

The birthplace of Zebulon Baird Vance (1830–1894), a Confederate Civil War officer, governor, senator, and writer, is a five-room log house. Vance was a passionate speaker and leader, and a prominent figure in his time. Perhaps spirits of the deceased are still drawn to the charismatic Vance: Ghostly men and women have been seen here, wearing old-fashioned clothing.

  1. I went there on April 11 2015 and got 3 pictures and an EVP and a door also slammed by itself all in the main cabin one picture was a white mist one was a clear shadow figure in a doorway and one was a face in the window of one of the smaller buildings and the EVP sounds like after I say “talk to me” it says something like “youre _____…STILL” I cant figure out what the blank says but its pretty clear E-mail me for the pictures and EVP
