Some say former governor Ed Warren and his mistress Lorraine still reside at their old home, now the University of Kansas Sigma Nu fraternity house, although both are long deceased. Stories tell us that Lorraine hanged herself in the building, and her apparition has been seen by witnesses. The story was corroborated by ghost hunters who investigated the building.

    1. Your facts are a little wrong here. Ed and Lorraine Warren are paranormal investigators. It was Governor Walter Stubbs and his wife Virginia in the house, and Virginia’s the one who hung herself (supposedly). Not Lorraine.

      • Natalie, I need to correct your comments. You almost have it correct, but, Virginia was a servant to Governor Stubbs. Stubbs wife became wise to how close the Governor and Virginia had become and she became upset over their assumed affair. Not long thereafter, the Governor found Virginia’s body hanging in a 3rd floor closet. It was not officially determined positively whether the hanging was a suicide or a murder, but I don’t believe the Governor’s wife ever spent any time in prison. So what does that tell us? Well, I’ll let you decide…
