This historic building was built in 1894, and is now a catering business and restaurant. Staff members have reported sighting the apparition of a veiled woman in white in the basement, who is believed to watch over the building. During a time of renovation, a worker spotted her pointing to a particular part of the basement, and upon investigating, found a large amount of gold coins stashed away. Staff and diners regard the apparition as a friendly presence.

  1. Yes, back in 1979 VIP was China Doll Restaurant. I was 16 year old prep cook.
White veiled lady glided out of wall then crouched & pointed at base of wall & said there’s money there. Gold coins were found.
