The Presbytere

The historical Presbytère building, designed in 1791 to match the Cabildo, was erected on the site of the residence of the Capuchin monks, although it was never used as a monks' residence. The building is now part of the Louisiana State Museum. It is said to be haunted by the ghost of a former janitor who remains in service in the afterlife. Share this Haunted Place
