    i have lived here for 57 years and have never heard or seen anything about a mailman ghost.

    When I was a kid, my mom took my little sister & I to an old single story wooden house that was for sale. As my mother pulled up to the old house, I felt a weird vibe kinda like someone was staring at me but nobody was around) My mom & the realtor went inside the house to look around while my little sister & I walked around outside exploring the yard & lake behind the house.

    My little sister found an old skeleton key in the yard (I don’t even know how she found it)
    But my mom started calling us to come inside & when we went inside, I walked around & noticed that the door knobs were old & original to the house, they required a skeleton key to lock/unlock the inside bedroom & bathroom doors. The feeling of someone staring at me while inside the house was even more intense than it was outside the house. (Like I wasn’t supposed to be there & was intruding on someone’s privacy… but nobody else was there besides us 4)

    It was a very creepy old shotgun house with a small lake behind it. My mother decided not to buy it because it was too much of an investment for her to do alone but for my little sister & I… we were so happy that we did NOT end up living there.

    I went back there years later just to see it again & to see if I got the same weird feeling about the place as I did before (as a kid) but I discovered that old house was torn down & 3 newly built house were on there on the property.

    I wonder if any of the people in those 3 houses there now have had any weird experiences?
