The Historic Klondike Hotel

You are here Home  > Historical Buildings >  The Historic Klondike Hotel

The Klondike Hotel was built on the street that in 1897 was named Railroad Street. It faced to the west toward the bustling Milwaukee tracks and depot. An access road was completed shortly after the hotel was built which directly connected the Hotel with the Depot. The local drayman was kept busy shuttling passengers and luggage along this roadway. Many EVP’s have been captured. Rocking chairs have been found rocking with no one around. A few have had to leave the hotel because of headaches and heavy feelings. The Hotel is available for Paranormal Investigations. Contact Michele Ertz @ 712.269.6815 or email desbyme@fmctc.com

  1. Here is a photo that was captured of a shadow figure in the basement last year. Is it Henry? He was a past owner of the Hotel and can be communicated with at the Historic Klondike Hotel! This photo was taken during an investigation with an IPhone.

  2. Hi my name is Jessica Turner and I used to live in the 641 main street manilla house and me and my family had to move out because of my experiences. I was locked in the shower on the main floor was feeling tired all the time heard a little girl laughing had hand prints of a little kid on my mirror in the house have had nightmares of someone named Melissa dying with a broken back and bleeding to death have had uneasy feelings of being chased up the stairs while going to bed seen black mist above the old sink in the room that leads to the big balcony out front have seen a old woman in one of the kitchen windows have felt like something was going to attack me. I wish someone would go check it out. We have the house up for sale now. It’s been that way for awhile.
