The Galleries of Justice

In the Entrance Hall, the spirits of a soldier, a lady, and a Victorian gentleman are seen. In the court, knocking is heard and shadows are seen. In the Cell Corridor, odd noises such as footsteps, keys rattling, and doors slamming are heard. The laundry room is known for random aromas that emerge without reason, as well as a high energy that emulates from here. People have seen figures in the Courtyard (where bodies are buried beneath). The caves are said to be the most haunted; people are touched, objects are thrown, and many unusual noises are heard. Lastly, in the pits, shadows are seen and the overall energy has made people sick.

  1. I felt cold when I sat in the jury part of the court room I was on the end to the right of the bench , Told my husband I could feel something to the right side of me felt a cold draft then they told us all that’s where they went to the cells if they was found guilty down the steps to the right . my hubby did see I had goose bumps on my arms but he felt nothing at all…I really want to go there at night time to see if I can experience it again…

  2. In an afternoon, I witnessed more activity than I have previously seen in two years. Can confirm the keys, whistling and foot steps. Man with a huge beard haunts the gallery of the Magistrates court.

  3. I last visited The Galleries of Justice in summer 2016 in the afternoon. During the guided tour/mock trial, I took a photograph in the courtroom with my mobile. I saw nothing at the time but upon close inspection of one of the JPEGS, I saw what appeared to be the shadowy figure of a man sitting at the large table (I believe sometimes used for live autopsies when training doctors when court was not in session). Unfortunately I had this phone stolen before I had chance to save the image onto other media but I will visit again soon and take more photos. Has anyone else had a similar experience?
