In the lounge bar is a painting of John Gould. People have reported seeing him throughout, as well as his sister in Room 3. In the cellar, a man named Patrick is said to be protective of his alcohol and scares staff who try to touch it. A dog is also seen by the fireplace in the lounge bar. (Submitted by Chris Berglund)

I went to lunch with my mother, in The Crown. It was a quiet lunchtime, not too many people in. WE sat by the fireplace, ordered our food, and enjoyed lunch. As we were finishing our drinks, and man walked in with his dog, which was on a leash. The dog went crazy, barking at the fireplace, fighting to get off his leash, growling at the fireplace. We heard a voice, which was very out of place, and seemed to come from behind us..... the voice growled the words "the bitch".

We are both quite sure, the voice didn't come from the few customers who were in.

I grew up in a haunted house in the historical neighborhood in indiana. As a kid, I often ran up and down the stairs running errands for my mom and my dad. One day I started seeing eyes peeking out of the covers in my room,it never went away and of course no one else believed me.anyhow after the eyes started watching me , more and more ghastly and strange event's would occur. Finally,we moved out. Only to start having nightmares about the house that still occasionally happen. Oyeah, a kid got murdered in the house and in the same room where I was seeing the eyes . Killed by his own father.
