This 100+-year-old hotel has several ghosts in residence. Its living guests have included all sorts of folks from royalty to rock stars. Those who linger in spirit include former employees as well as guests. One ghost is Denver socialite Mrs. Louise Crawford Hill, who lived in Room 904 from 1940 to 1955. She has been known to call the switchboard when the room is vacant. Only static is heard on the other end. Interestingly, the ghost even called the switchboard from Room 904 when the room was under renovation and had no phone, furniture, or lights. An old-fashioned train conductor is another of the hotel’s ghosts, and the dining room, called Ellyngton’s, is haunted by a ghostly string quartet. When an employee caught the formally attired musicians playing in there, he warned them, “You’re not supposed to be in here,” but the ghosts only replied, “Oh, don’t worry about us. We live here.” Some of the other ghosts here include a uniformed waiter in the service elevator, ghostly children who run up and down the halls, and the sound of a crying baby that comes from the boiler room.

I have over 25 min of creepy from 2012 in the Brown Palace Hotel.. the bell boy gave me an entire tour and reveals more recent deaths in room 904 and a recent case of employee that jumped from 7 floor in the atrium and showed me the spot where her head dented the wood on the 2nd floor oning.. all caught on video. My phone totally died and zapped dead once we got to 904.. seriously freaked me out my phone never stopped working until this day…
This video was shot at 2AM in the morning. So very dark and spooky. Bell boy left me on 9th floor and had to chase him back to elevator. He said” this floor creeps him out and tells story about elevator door was shurting and like someone tried to keep the door open and wouldn’t shut.. this video starts as an interview before entering tried to get as much info as possible.. i was staying at the holiday Inn across th e street and couldn’t sleep. Bored and wrestless. I googled brown palace hotel only to read the horror that had happened only 125 feet from me.. immediately got dressed grabed my phone and happened to run into the bell boy that gives me floor by floor room by room stories of events of murders and suicides.
