The Blue Door Bed and Breakfast

You are here Home  > Historical Buildings >  The Blue Door Bed and Breakfast

Several ghosts are said to be in residence at this cottage built in 1692, and one is the builder, Philip Knight. Another is Rebecca Towne, who wears a blue dress and floats through the dining room. Captain Henry Quiver died here in the 1850s, and was said to join the other spirits.
Another witness reports seeing a shrieking shadow that complained of being cold in the voice of a young boy. Note: This b&b may no longer be in operation.

  1. I was there for a weekend and started taking pictures, was like 20 years ego when we didn’t have digital cameras, and 2 cameras film rewinded by it self, happens that mr philip didn’t like flashes

  2. My husband and i stayed there. I saw a female ghost who appeared to be wearing green in our bedroom in the middle of the night. The next morning she played tricks with me, slamming and unlatching the bedroom and bathroom doors.
