Unexplained noises and a series of mishaps point to a malevolent entity operating at this privately owned home. Different people have reported being pushed off of scaffolding and ladders, one, while holding a chainsaw. It is alleged that the former mistress of the house doesn’t like anyone living there but her. Ghostly sounds, tinkling music, footsteps and whispers in the night as well as the smell of perfume have also been reported.

  1. I had stayed here for two weeks in the spring of 2000. I was visiting family that were renting the place at the time. I brought my two young sons with me. At that time they were 3 and 1 years of age. I did experience paranormal activity there during my visit. Often during the night you hear someone stomping up and down the stairs. It’s quite loud. My oldest sone kept telling me about a man following me around and he didn’t like it. Also my youngest son I would find laughing and playing patty cake with someone in the middle of the night. This is not something he usually did. I saw Addie in my last night there. My mother and I are sitting in the kitchen drinking coffee and just casually talking about leaving the next morning and my father that was holding my youngest son came to the front door. My father was holding my son and my son was looking over his shoulder. When they came through the door there was like a plume of smoke that came in with them then my dad brought into the kitchen and it followed them into the kitchen. My father started talking to my mother and as they were talking I’m watching this smoke thing elongate and begin to take shape. It was a woman, and she was smiling at my son and my son was smiling back at her. I was so shocked I could not speak so I tried to bang on the table to get my mother and my father’s attention but they ignored me. I saw her turtle head and look at me and didn’t just disappeared. I will never forget that for the rest of my life That is the first time I have actually seen something that detailed. I asked my mother and father if they saw or felt anything and they said they did not.
