The church has a cemetery off to the left of the main doors. Many locals claim to have seen a woman without legs roaming the cemetery at night. She has been mostly spotted in the middle section of the cemetery.

  1. I don’t know about St Lorenz but I belong to St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church in Freeland. It is a VERY old church with a cemetary right next to it that creeps me out to this day. I do not drive past the church at night (unless I have to when I have a meeting at night and I get out of there quickly). I will not be in that parking lot alone at night and I don’t even like looking at that cemetary at night. Actually I had a ladies meeting there last night (in the basement) and I went upstairs to drop something off in one of the member’s mailboxes. The actual church area is quite creepy at night and I swore I heard someone whispering near me but I wasn’t sure. I got out of there fast and went downstairs and of course never mentioned it to anyone. By the way the church is over 100 years old.

  2. Went there with my bf and we lit candles and incense as we walked through the cemetery. Our candle flame turned all the way green and then went out. We also heard footsteps in the snow coming towards us but we did not see anything. We also lit more candles in my car by the cemetery and we heard voices that we didn’t hear in person in the video, turn the volume up very loud and listen, you can also tell the candle was crackling.

  3. Went there with my mom once and waited for her by the stairs. Felt an unnaturally cold breeze go past me, as if someone was walking by. Got the chills and had a feeling to look at the pictures on the wall, as if the spirit wanted me to find out who they were. Got a protective feeling from the spirit.
