St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church

You are here Home  > Miscellaneous >  St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church

This is the home of Our Lady of Cicero, a weeping Virgin Mary icon panel. In 1994, during Holy Week, the painting began weeping oil. It was examined by eight orthodox bishops; all determined the tears to be genuine. The Virgin Mary still continues to weep.

I do not think it is appropriate to call it paranormal, but rather Supernatural, for this event is “An Act of God”, for my personal thought, I feel that there was supernatural intervention in this miracle

    2. February 3rd 2011 @ 3:07 A.M. There was a lady standing on the stairs wearing a long white dress with a long white vail falling down to her hips that covered her face. It was weird & scary at the same time. She looked very peaceful.
