Snowed Inn

You are here Home  > Historical Buildings >  Snowed Inn

This Victorian inn was built as an upscale replica for the owner’s grandmother, and it is the grandmother who they say haunts the place. She has appeared as a mist seen, oddly enough, ascending and descending through the floors, and her apparition also has shown up in photographs of the hotel taken by staff members.

Reports say the inn is no longer in operation, and is for sale.

  1. I worked on the Snowed Inn in Park City, Utah from 1987-thru 1990–I was working on the grounds after the Owner (Barbara) had built the hotel l. I had 3 ghost experiences in the hotel. The first was with an employee of mine from Park West Ski Area. I was the Building Maintenance manager at the time for Park west Ski Area (1986-1990)-I reserved her a room on a snow day in 1998–I visited her in the wee morning and there were towells thrown about the room-I asked her about this and she informed me that everything was normal when she went to bed-when I was moving out of Park City I had some time let on my Snowed Inn trade and I stayed with my girlfriend and we had the same experience —-towells thrown about the room–years later in 1996–I stayed in the same room and I had the same experience with My now wife–towells from the bathroom spread about the room and also in our sheets–mixed in our linens –freaked me out -The Snowed Inn is Haunted–there were caretakers at the Snowed Inn that Quit because of the Hauntings–I did not believe in Ghosts before I worked and stayed at the Snowed Inn in Park City, Utah–but after 3 encounters at the same property, I now know that spirits exist–for sure–The Ghost is reffered to as (Grandma) that is the apparition everyone sees–I never saw her–but she messed with me enough

    • Glad to see my post is still up many people saw the apparition cruising the halls I wish someone else would step up and share their experiences. Larry cameron
