Seven Stars Inn

This historic inn building, originally built in the 1700s, is said to be home to several spirits. Visitors may catch a glimpse of a ghost boy in an upstairs dining room, and the spirit of a man has been seen several times peering down the stairwell. Rumor has it that the man is a former owner who fell to his death on the same stairwell. But folks say the spirit most often seen is that of a woman who hanged herself in the attic.

  1. I ate here alot and caught alot of “old times’ vibe there bt never saw a ghost, however this is town is notorious for dark old vibes and witchcraft. When I saw this picture on this site, it really made me think.

    • Phoenixville is not notorious for that. I’ve lived here all of my and done my research on its history and have never seen, read or heard such a thing.

  2. I used to work there as a busser and I was bussing on the upstairs In the back room and I left my phone and went to grab it when the lights was off the door was closed and i saw a white figure with a dress on thorugh the window of the door and I just went back down stairs

  3. Why sure I can belive anything can be hunted. After all we live in a spirit world its all over us. Spirits can,go,in and out of the realm. There are deminsions. It is amazing tho to know and see strange things. And you can see and feel and pick up the feeling when seeing a old building.

  4. My boyfriend worked as a waiter here about 20 years ago & could easily pick up on the place being haunted. I know he said he saw the spirit of a woman, I believe it was in the attic.

  5. My boyfriend worked there about 20 years ago & saw the spirit of a woman in the attic I believe. He’s very in-tuned to the spirit world so I don’t doubt his story at all.

  6. My husband and I went here for our anniversary and sat upstairs at one of the tables. I had one of my legs lifted off the floor! I looked under the table to see if my husbands feet were close to mine, thinking maybe he did it somehow. When I looked, he was no where near me. One leg lifted right up off the floor and stayed that way for a matter of seconds. I told him I wanted to leave!
