Had a very unpleasant night here 12 years ago which involved the tent unzipping in the middle of the night whilst I lay in my sleeping bag in terror. Something was rustling around outside the tent for a while after. They say here in Scotland "Always pitch your tent near running water so you dont hear the sounds of the night".
In the morning I found what can only be described as drag-marks (2ft wide) leading from the sea to the bottom of the dune on which my tent was pitched.
The bay felt very ominous at night, i did not sleep well. I left the following day.
