  1. My step father owned the San Marco Theater from 1981 – 1998. As a child I was told a story that a manger was previewing a film on Friday afternoon when he turned around and saw a figure of a lady in the private viewing room. The lady was not watching the movie, but facing a wall. The manger went upstairs to find there was nothing there. Years later, an envelope was shoved under the Theater’s front door. In the envelope were pictures of the Theatre from decades ago. One picture in particular, was of a lady at her desk facing the wall. The room that was her office was the private viewing room I spoke of earlier.

From age 6 to an adult, I always felt like I was being watched when I was on the second floor of the Theatre (otfices).
