Proctor's Ledge

You are here Home  > Miscellaneous >  Proctor's Ledge

Proctor’s Ledge was the true site of Salem hangings. It’s said that there is still a high psychic energy remaining since the hysteria ended. A note to anyone who investigates: the land is private property and located behind a series of houses; if you don’t get permission first, there is a strong possibility of having the cops called.

  1. Went there on a full moon night in October with my boyfriend. Neither of us really felt like it had an evil atmosphere but it definitely felt like “hollowed ground” in a way and was an awesome experience. As we started to leave I swear I heard a woman’s laugh sort of in the distance but my boyfriend didn’t hear it all all. It could have been nothing but idk man. It’s weird that he didn’t hear it.
