Potter School House

Alfred Hitchcock used this location while filming The Birds. Most of the cast seemed paranoid on set and felt like they weren't alone in the building. The school house has been abandoned for quite some time, but apparitions of a woman have appeared in photograph. She's usually dressed in Victorian garb. (Submitted by Chris Berglund)

    One last one of something in the upstairs window. There is 2 graves out back of a sea captain and his wife.
    They say you can hear kids outside. And door knobs turn. You can hear foot steps

    There's an abandoned house up the street from this school, completely rundown. A group of six friends and I were visiting this school and happened to drive by it trying to find a way out. Large black figures chased us down the road and we saw a white figure in the window of the abandoned house. Absolutely terrifying. In the school as we left, all the lights were on. I didn't think any strange of the lights until I researched and found its abandoned.

    I snapped this picture of the shcoolhouse in Bodega Bay in 2011. In the upper left window you can clearly see a figure sitting there, not a human. I didn't see this apparition until I blew the photo up larger. It was not in the viewfinder when I snapped the picture.
