  1. Page Jackson is A nice cemetery, Has A lot of very old tomb stones..There’s Graves in the woods , Where trees and brush have over grown ..Some of the Graves you can’t even see..But I think it’s Shiloh that is over grown..It’s A nice to go and visit durning the day..But at night, It’s A different place..It’s not the spirits you have to worry about..It’s the ones who hang out there, there’s A sign full of bullet holes..It’s A shame..Cause I’m sure it would be great at night

  2. Page Jackson gets its name from the man who donated the land for the cemetery when people died locals would say ” Hes going to see Page Jackson today” Mr Jackson a celery Farmer would always stop work to pay respect for the passing funeral. the cemetery was not actually named until the 1980’s prior to that it was the colored cemetery with the only whites burried being victims of the yellow fever outbreak mostly in unmarked graves. Part of the cemetery is in Sanford city part in the county so 3 acres of the cemetery are landscaped the rest is unkempt and wild over 3,000 people are buried in Page Jackson only 786 graves have been logged. It is a very interesting place civil war heroes are buried there Nora Hurston Healeys first mother Ebony Magazine Photographer Willie Brown. Yorba practitioners black Masons members of the Prince of tides ans the Sisters of Ruth I have seen some graves of slaves/ servants I have found one mass grave where the entire family 7 to include a one day old baby all died the same day presumed by a clan lynching this is a very dangerous place if you plan to visit walk it by daylight first preferably the day you plan to visit at night some graves are exposed inhabited with rattlesnakes and the cemetery is prone to caving in especially after storms the police patrol at night due to grave robbing My daughter is the Find a Grave Curator for this Cemetery it is very dear to our hearts.

    • Melissa,
I am very interested in the Page-Jackson and Shiloh Cemeteries. I included a story about P-J in my book GHOSTHUNTING FLORIDA based on a trip through there with Kissimmee Paranormal. If possible I’d like to get in touch with your daughter and get more information. My email is laphamdavid@gmail.com. Cell is 407-435-5118. Thanks for any help you can give me.

  3. While doing an investigation there, about 8 years ago, I saw a shadowy figure move from a bunch of trees to another bunch. I actually began chasing it as it was approaching the other trees, but when I got a few feet away from it, it disappeared. I also caught evp’s of children talking and babies crying, in the children’s burial section.

  4. I don’t know where Page Jackson himself is buried, but I think he died about 1917. He was from Tallahassee and moved to Orange County (wasn’t Seminole County at the time) with his parents William and Phillis. He had married a woman named Lizzie. He was a truck farmer. He lived in Goldsboro. A daughter named Phillis died there in 1907. I haven’t found anything else yet, but maybe someone else can build his life and connect it to the cemetery named for him.

  5. We visited here & if there were some lingering unhappy spirits, I could see why. To get here, you’ll have to drive through a few other cemeteries. All of which are upkept & beautiful. Then you reach Page-Jackson… I’m not going to lie, what was suppose to be a ghost investigation turned into us just walking around with tears in our eyes. I couldn’t believe that such a old historic cemetery, with SO many people buried there was in such bad condition. After a while we did try a spirit box session, & got someone to interact with the REM-pod. but we kept getting “let me out” & “let me go” on the spirit box.. It was strange & made us wonder if they’re stuck there. 🙁 I have videos of this cemetery on TikTok, @Creepycappys if you’re interested.
