Old Tampa Theater

You are here Home  > Theaters >  Old Tampa Theater

A projectionist from the 1940s supposedly haunts this theatre. Staff hear his footsteps and chains rattling in the hallways and behind the stage. Some claim to even see him up in the projecting room when it is supposed to be empty. There are reports of weird “bad smells”, cold spots, and even one person who swears she was grabbed by the neck by an unseen entity.

    1. When I was younger I saw a man with a white face and a nice suit on and a top hat walk out of the women’s restroom and I turned around to get my friends attention and he was gone.

    2. Me and my friend were in the downstairs bathroom and it was really late because our movie got out late. And there was barely anyone in the theater. So I was using the bathroom by myself (the only one in the bathroom because my friend went to get some food). When I heard the gate slam and the lights turned off so I looked around and all I saw was a faint shadow of someone I front of the gate, so I ran away.
