Old Hamilton County Jail

The 1893 jail, used until the late 20th century and now a museum, is home to a haunt in a hurry. Witnesses have heard the sound of running footsteps here. Reports say that hangings may once have taken place within the building.

  1. Been there a few times, never been let down. Hear noises from the jail when no one is in there. Our team has seen a shadow figure 3 times in the upper area where the jail cells are located.

Spirit box replies in solitary confinement, I asked, “where am I right now” the camera flickered and then a voice said, “a jail” – also, captured a light anomaly coming out of the jail, blinking as it gave off it’s own light source then splitting into two different light anomalies… A shadow figure as well on the upper floors where the cells are
