Having worked at NorthShore Regional Medical Center for 22 1/2 years, I can attest to the story of Reggie....He is the only ghost that I had any encounters with during my employment...He fell from the third floor into the # 3 elevator shaft during construction in 1984. He's a harmless ghost and never seen but has been heard, and for fun, he sometimes would take the elevator occupants to the 5th floor instead of where they wanted to go....keep this in mind....the 5th floor was ONLY accessible by someone with a special key carried by the engineer on duty.

I work on the 4th floor as a RN and I get feelings of dizziness at least once a shift. Before I just now read this and before I knew the story, I compared it to the feeling of standing by elevators (u know how the floor can seem to move a little). I’ve compared it to being in an elevator or cruise ship. Weird to learn now that the death was associated with an elevator

I worked on the 4th floor peds department for several years and during my shift I have seen the flickering lights in the back hallway and have heard doors shutting when noone was in any of the rooms in the back hall. These would mostly happen at night.
