  1. Walked these halls as a kid- had feelings that people were hung in the towers….Had several friends who lived there in the late 1970’s…To this date when I pass by I get the same cold feeling….

  2. I’ve lived in Sanford for over 30 years. The first electrical lighting for this “hotel” was provided by the power from a D.C. generator from STARKE state prison, where executions by electric chair have been performed. Check it out

  3. This building has represented a Christian organization since the 1970’s and it has held nothing but man and women who love the Lord Jesus Christ with their whole hearts and desire to honor Him…
Whoever started this about haunted places must have too much time on their hands…

We have many happy memories in that place. In fact my husband son and wife were in that building when we learned of 9/11…A hard time indeed but how it drew us all together as we had gathered for a Safety Flite seminar!

So now you know the real story! The Mission that once filled these halls have now moved to another site because of the mold and constant upkeep on this lovely building…So we must say goodbye to it…and now…maybe now you might hear haunted voices 🙂

  4. It appears this old Florida jewel of a building is going to be resurrected into a 4 Star hotel that caters to weddings, large gatherings. I think it will once again be a grand old place for which I plan on being a part of.

  5. I attended SNA in the early 70s. There were reports then of noises on the 3rd floor. Being a student “prefect” (cop), my partner and I got permission to ‘check out’ the 3 floor which was closed and used for storage. Many students reported noises up there but no one took it seriously. But it was spooky. Marilyn Monroe and other notables stayed here I was told.
