You are here Home  > Historical Buildings >  Minsden Chapel

The ruins of this chapel are home to a phantom monk who said to ring bells (which do not exist anymore) and that of a nun who was murdered in a nearby tunnel system.

  1. My wife went into the toilet in the Victoria pub in baldock high Street. I was sitting outside the door. When she came out she asks me if I see the strange rude women. That walked in there. My mississ says she spoke to her and the women didn’t reply she was wearing a long white dress and had a red hat with a feathers. I was out side the toilet. No one went in or out apart from my missis. I asked the pub landlord about this other women and he said that my missis was the only women in the pub. Has anyone else seen this women?
