This historic hotel is located in a beautiful national park, and is also rumoured to be haunted by a lady in a red dress in guests rooms and a man in a top hat who appears in corridors. A spectre has been known to phone the front desk to ask for more towels from inside locked rooms, while a kindly ghost has been known to make coffee for staff working early shifts.

  1. I worked at the hotel in the early 90s and had some amazing experiences. I had an “apartment” in the hotel to live in and experienced voices and movement of my things in my room and also in the hotel when there was no other people in the hotel (before it opened). Love this hotel. A piece of my heart is there. Everything I experienced was more playful than scary…
