In this building, over a century old, folks say a ghost named Virginia sometimes makes an appearance on the front staircase. Reports say Virginia was once a member of the cleaning staff.

  1. I think the ghost on the front steps is fiction. It’s the same strategy as the Meridian hotel, who also says their ghost is outside on front steps. This is so ghost hunter types stay outside and take pictures of the façade, instead of walking thru the building disturbing the guests and staff. The Italian club has a ghost that hangs around the second floor women’s restroom, and a little girl ghost who giggles probably also on the second floor. The gangster was shot dead on the side walk just outside, but he wasn’t a cleaning lady named Virginia. I’m including this location in my youtube video on the “dr. kakoon” channel. thanks….
