Lake Street Lake - Rudge Memorial Park

Formerly dairy farm, and then a skating rink, the park is said to be haunted by a little boy killed long ago by a gang of bullies. Apparitions have been reported to occur in winter near the creek.

  1. Many years ago in the 1900s, there was a little girl walking home in a storm and got swept away by the lake and had drown. There have been sightings of a white figure after midnight.

  2. I grew up a block away from Lake street Park. My brother and I played there on a daily basis, on a few different occasions we saw a figure of on old man that roamed the park. This is the ghostly figure that is talked about in The guide to the Ghosts of Lincoln. Also the house we lived in for years up the street was extremely haunted as well
