It would seem as if every room here has some form of activity. In the library, an upset girl is seen; in the alcove, a vicar or priest likes to appear; in the tunnels, a nurse frequently shows up (said to be the most commonly seen ghost here). Temperature drops, unexplained sounds, and other strange sights are reported here as well.

  1. A girl child took hold of my hand in the library and walked with me holding it for quite some time.
Upon my return two years later, I asked a guide if it was haunted and she told me of a member of staff whose hand had been held by a child. I then told my story and described the girl to her and she gasped. She said I just described the girl who drowned in the lake. Even her age!
