Hurricane Seafood Restaurant

You are here Home  > Restaurants and Bars >  Hurricane Seafood Restaurant

This restaurant dates back to 1977. It was built on the site of the old Casa Bonita Hotel, which itself was once a bath house called “Page’s Pavilion” back in the early 1910s. At least one waiter at the restaurant claims the place is haunted, but we don’t have much more detail than that.

  1. My mother worked at The Hurricane in the late 80s and early 90s without any experiences. She was floor manager, so she was often there with one other person or by herself, closing up for the evening in the wee hours of the night.

  2. July 15/2023

We were down stairs using the restrooms. I heard I’m here in my ear. It sounded like my girlfriend who was still in the restaurant. Nobody was around me. I thought she was messing with me and we argued for a week whe has now convinced me it wasn’t her. It was so clear to my ears.

    So weird
