  1. It was late afternoon. We had come back to our room to nap before getting ready for dinner. The bathroom is all glass and it began to rattle and as it rattled a thin woman walked through it, looked right at me, and walked into the next wall. I was terrified. I have never been so frightened by anything in my entire life. I’ll never ever forget it. We were staying on the top floor of the w french quarter. 4th floor maybe? Corner room overlooking Chartres. She wasn’t there to bother us or harm us, but she wanted us to know she was there and she was gone in a second.
