This famous abode-style hotel is now a café, but has a rich and glamorous past. Staff and diners in the café on the ground floor claim to here disembodied footsteps on the upper levels, while a worker sighted the apparition of a young girl on several occasions while the building was undergoing renovations.

I lived here in the late 1970’s, early 80’s. At first I lived on the second floor I believe, it was the bridal suite . One day my room mate and myself were sitting in the living room in front of the fire place. Our two cats were sitting on a table in front of us . At the same time, they both started growling, focusing on something that we could not see, their eyes became huge and their ears flattened on their heads. It was very obvious that they saw something that we couldn’t. After that I moved upstairs to a studio apartment. I would regularly hear footsteps going down the narrow wood hallway, and brushes against my door, but there was no one there.
